During an event in New Delhi, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) introduced a fresh logo and launched seven new services, such as Wi-Fi roaming, satellite-to-device connectivity, and a spam-free network. Here’s all the essential information you need.
New BSNL Logo
The company unveiled a new logo embodying its mission of “Connecting Bharat—securely, affordably, and reliably.” This change signifies a direct focus on enhancing its network services. BSNL: 7 New Services

- Spam-Free Network: BSNL is rolling out a real-time solution, designed to combat scam and spam communications. This initiative marks a significant move towards minimising fraudulent activities.
- BSNL Wi-Fi Roaming: The telecom operator is introducing seamless roaming capabilities, enabling BSNL customers to effortlessly connect to any BSNL FTTH (Fiber-to-the-Home) Wi-Fi network.
- BSNL IFTV: Customers using BSNL FTTH will gain access to 500 premium channels through this fibre-based internet live TV service.
- Any Time SIM (ATS) Kiosks: There will be automated kiosks for those needing to activate a SIM or complete KYC integration.
- Direct-to-Direct Service: This service is heralded as India’s first satellite-to-device connectivity option, offering SIM service across air, land, and sea. It aims to guarantee reliable communication in both emergencies and remote regions.
- Public Protection and Disaster Relief: In the event of a disaster, this network will provide immediate responses.
- Private 5G in Mines (CNPN): BSNL is set to enhance the mining sector in India with safe, efficient, and secure connectivity powered by 5G technology.
During the event, Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia remarked, “The number of subscribers for Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has surged from 75 lakh to 1.8 crore in the past six months. India is one of only six countries worldwide to have developed its own 4G telecom network, which is soon transitioning to 5G.”
